Review of the Walther PPK/S
For those that missed the posts on Facebook, the Walther PPS is truly an experiment for me. I bought this gun blindly off of online reviews and having never handled one in person. Now, you may be wondering to yourself why I would do that. Well, many people can’t find gun A or gun B locally to fondle before buying and go blindly off of what reviewers say. So, to better my reviews for you, I decided to do just that, and then compare my findings to what I found in the reviews I watched.
The Glock 19x is one that I thrashed when it came out on the market. I saw no value in the design…why would someone want a compact slide on a full-sized frame? Well, slowly but surely, my curiosity got the best of me. Between talking to a friend who is former LE, seeing all of the torture test articles, and more… I wanted to try Glock again.
Michelle Hamilton looks at the Sub-Compacts
My story with the FNS-9c is an interesting one. When I first got into firearms my first purchase was the CZ 75B…the runner up by a very close margin was the FN FNS-9 full size model. The balance was real nice and it felt good in the hand. Back in February while looking for a subcompact for possible summer carry, I toyed with a Glock 26, but ultimately didn’t like the size. As a bigger guy I can get by with concealing larger guns even for deep concealment. I checked out a few other subcompacts and I wasn’t really feeling them; I also wasn’t considering a single stack at that point.
